As of Monday evening, our consigned numbers are in the range of 600 with the likelihood that we will have 750 - 800 by sale time.  In this all vaccinated sale, the bulk of the offering will fall in the range of 650 - 950 lb. though there will also be a significant number of lighter calves eligible for grass.  Char/CharX and Angus [both Black and Red] crosses are the breeds having the greatest sale numbers with significant Limo and Simm influence as well.  In this all vaccinated sale  there are usually added value immunizations and parasite control beyond the 5way modified live vaccinations.  Many consignors are prepared to guarantee heifers to be open and there is a large group of double moved cattle.

                                            Feature One Owner Lots

[i]Approximately 150 double moved steers in the 950 lb. weight range - Char/CharX makes up the largest part of this group -  all are live vaccinated and guaranteed to be properly castrated - fed by TMR and therefore bunk adjusted -  this group will have many large uniform ring lots of fancy cattle - 

[]ii]100 [46 heifers, 54 steers] Red Baldie cattle in the 7 and 800 lb. range from a live vaccinated cowherd - vaccinated Jan. 31 with a live 5way, Blackleg, and given parasite control - heifers estrumated and guaranteed open and steers castrated surgically - weaned in January - bunk fed by TMR  2md cut hay, balage, and corn silage -

[iii]36 Char/LimoX heifers and steers in the 900 lb. weight range from a longterm live vaccinated cowherd - heifers are guaranteed to be open and steers have been surgically castrated -vaccinated in May/23 and Dec. with a live 5-way + Pasteurella and given parasite control at the same time -on wrapped hay and cracked corn -

[iv]30 [20 steers, 10 heifers] Black Angus/Simm cattle in the 7 -800 lb. weight range from a live vaccinated cowherd -vaccinated with a live 5-way +Pasteurella and Blackleg ln July and again on Dec. - parasite control by 2 products in Mar/24 - heifers are guaranteed to be open and steers were banded at birth - weaned Dec. 10 - fed balage and corn silage topped with distillers - bunk and waterbowl adjusted -

[v]30 Char X Red Baldie calves from a live vaccinated cowherd and a VBP + Certified herd program- calves born in the fall and in the 550 lb. weight range - Inforce 3 nasally at birth and a live 5-way + Pasteurella, Blackleg and parasite control on Feb. 1 - Age Verified and steers castrated surgically - nursing calves had access to wrapped hay, dry hay, and corn silage - waterbowl adjusted.
