Brand Registration

Beef Farmers of Ontario (BFO), on behalf of the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, is responsible for registering livestock brands according to the Government of Ontario Livestock Branding Act.

Brand registration is valid for a period of one (1) year at a cost of $8.00 per brand per position. Notification letters and renewal forms are then sent out on an annual basis, based on expiration dates.
