Farmed Animal Antimicrobial Stewardship Initiative
Farmed Animal Antimicrobial Stewardship Initiative (FAAST) was developed to provide livestock farmers and their veterinarians with free tools and resources to help prevent antimicrobial resistance. Producers can access the following courses using the link below.

Verified Beef Production Plus
The Verified Beef Production Plus (VBP+) producer manual is available to all producers regardless if the producer is certified under VBP+. The manual includes various sections that provide detailed information on animal health, including the use of livestock medicines and antimicrobials, animal nutrition, animal care, biosecurity, and more.
Ontario Corn Fed Beef Quality Assurance
Ontario feedlot producers can access the Ontario Corn Fed Beef Quality Assurance (OCFBQA) program manual for information on animal care and animal health topics, such as use of veterinary medicines, antimicrobials, purchase and storage, and more.
